Do or Die at Leicester

Fifteen heats of dramatic action will decide whether Eastbourne Speedway will progress to the semi-finals of the Championship KO Cup.

They take a 24-point lead to Leicester tonight (July 5) in the second leg of the quarter final tie (tapes up 7.30pm)

There’s no complacency in the Fineprint Eagles’ camp and the whole team is aware that the East Midlands club are the in-form team in the whole league.

Joint team manager Will Pottinger said: “If we cannot get through with a 24-point lead, we don’t deserve it.

“We will see what happens, but we have a good opportunity”

“We have proved at Arlington we can make starts but the lads are struggling out of the traps away a bit away from home.”

The Eagles are at full strength, whilst the Lions bring in Chris ‘Bomber’ Harris as a guest to replace broken ankle victim Richie Worrall, with R/R for Josh Bates.

Live coverage tonight will be provided by Kevin Ling via our Facebook page.
