Team News: At no. 6 for Glasgow, Connor Coles replaces Nathan Stoneman.

Revenge and payback will be in the air tonight (Saturday, May 18) as the Eastbourne Eagles take on Glasgow Tigers for the second time in two nights.

Last night (Friday), in Scotland, the home team recorded a comprehensive 56-33 victory.

The Sussex club have vowed to ensure the boot is on the other foot when the teams meet tonight at Arlington Stadium.

Last night (May 17), the Tigers’ No 1 Craig Cook cruised to yet another maximum score. Now he is in the Eagles’s sights.

Defeating Cook, who rode in last year’s Grand Prix series, could well be the key to kick-starting Eastbourne’s league campaign after they have suffered three defeats in the first three league matches.

Eastbourne co-promoter, Trevor Geer, said: “Craig Cook has become the man to beat in this league. Our lads want to be the ones to lower his colours.”

Eastbourne v Glasgow at Arlington Stadium begins at 7.30pm.
