Good luck to Tom

Tom Brennan has the biggest meeting of his short career on Saturday night as he travels to Finland to compete in the FIM European Under-19 Final.

Brennan, who has only recently turned 17 and was runner-up in this year’s British Under-19 Final, qualified for the European Final with an impressive display at the semi-final in the Czech Republic.

He now goes into Saturday night aiming to emulate Robert Lambert’s success in the same competition last year, where Lambert was crowned European Under-19 Champion.

British youth Boss Neil Vatcher said: “This is great experience for Tom, and he deserves all the plaudits for qualifying for a major European final.

“There is no pressure on him, and he can travel to Finland to enjoy the occasion. Incredibly if he doesn’t claim the top prize this year, he still has the opportunity of another two years so has plenty of time on his side.

“Having said that, Tom is in great form and has some real fast kit – so it would be great for him to challenge for the title.

“We all wish him the best of luck.”
