It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bob Dugard.
He was 76 and leaves a widow, Margaret, sons Martin and Paul and daughter Charlotte, step daughter Katherine.
Bob has been a lynchpin of the speedway club for more than 50 years.
Earlier he was a successful rider, mostly with Wimbledon.
Away from the sport, he, along with his younger brother,Eric, have run Dugard, an international machine tool company based in Hove and other outlets around the world including Bobs brainchild of a machine tool company in Poland called MTI International.
