Tom’s Aussie Adventure

Tom Brennan has made a successful start to his Australian campaign.

The Hassocks-based teenager rode to third place in his opening meeting Down Under at the weekend.

And while he was on the other side of the world, the Eastbourne Forman IT Eagles’ rider continued his winning streak at Arlington.

At the club’s end-of-season party he picked up the riders’ rider-of-the-year award.

Georgie Wood did the double, winning both the management’s and fans’s rider-of-the-year awards while Charlie Brooks took the title of most improved rider.

Brennan left for Australia on November 5 and immediately provided some fireworks of his own at the Mildura Motorcycle Club’s meeting.

He finished on the podium after his first meeting in Oz, behind Justin Sedgemen and top-top-step man Jordan Stewart.

Fellow Brit, Zach Wajtknecht, who is also on the same month-long tour as Brennan, came fourth.
