Eastbourne Fineprint Eagles’ management pair of Ian Jordan and Jon Cook are encouraging fans to arrive a little earlier than normal for Sunday’s big clash with the Leicester Lions.
The club is anticipating a big crowd on what is forecast to be a warm and sunny afternoon for the Knock Out quarter final (first leg) with the Lions, who are led by one of UK speedway’s all-time greats, Scott Nicholls.
The pits will be open as usual for fans to soak up the atmosphere, take photographs and talk to the riders.
The “pits open” period will be extended on Sunday – up until 40 minutes before the parade, which take place at 3.30pm, with heat one to follow.
Gates open at 1.45pm.
Kevin Coombes, speedway’s No1 presenter will guide fans through the day’s action – he has now completed his own racing clashes and will be covering the rest of the season.
We look forward to welcoming fans old and new to another great day of Arlington action.
