Delight as Sponsors Return

We are delighted to announce the return of Turner Engineering / V8 Engines.eu as significant Sponsors of Eastbourne Eagles for the remainder of 2019.

Richard and Frida, at Turner Engineering, have been valued and long-term supporters and sponsors of Eastbourne Speedway and some of the legends of Arlington, such as Cameron Woodward and Joonas Kylmakorpi.

We are delighted to welcome them back to the fold and very grateful for their renewed support.

Eastbourne Fineprint Eagles Director, Ian Jordan, commented: “It has been a pleasure to be introduced to Richard and Frida and to discuss with them their past experiences and support for Eastbourne Eagles and some of the legends that have graced the blue and yellow of the club, particularly Cameron and Joonas. 

“Richard and Frida have been very receptive to the ideas and plans that we are implementing and the vision for the future of the Club and it will be good to see then visiting Arlington regularly once again. 

“Their substantial financial backing for the remainder of the 2019 season and, hopefully into the future, is very welcome and we are extremely grateful.

“It is fantastic to see another former sponsor and outstanding local business returning to support us.”

Mr Jordan said the Eastbourne Fineprint Eagles had captured imaginations once again.

“We are proving that the sport that we all love is not dying and with hard work positivity and enthusiasm, it can thrive and be successful,” he said. 

The 2019 speedway season has yet to reach the half-way stage and the excitement which surrounded the launch of the “new era Eagles” continues.

Mr Jordan said: “There is a tremendous buzz around Eastbourne Speedway which continues to build.

“The riders are giving us loads of excitement and entertainment while the ‘backroom’ team continue to build the speedway experience for our supporters.

“We are keen to discuss our plans with any local company or business keen to get involved and wishes to join and help us. 

“We are already looking ahead and planning for 2020 and beyond.

“The support so far of all of our fans, supporters and sponsors has been overwhelming in its intensity and truly humbling.
