Eagles 2020 Programme Plans
With the news that the Eastbourne Fineprint Eagles programme finished runner up to the Sheffield Tigers in the annual Speedway Star Programme of the Year award, the Eagles Management are already putting plans in place to push for the number one spot again in 2020.
The Eagles Programme received great plaudits from journalists Richard Frost and Howard Jones who conducted the Speedway Star Programme review:
“Editor Barry Cross again came up with a simply excellent issue down on the South Coast and while they slipped off the rostrum places 12 months ago after winning in 2016 and 2017, their 2019 edition was a real stunner in all departments”
Within the review itself, the programme received the following final verdit: Top programme, so polished you can see the shine.
Eagles Director Ian Jordan commented:
“We are delighted to receive the positive comments on the 2019 programme, and I would like to send my huge thanks to the Programme team of Barry Cross, Les Fineing, Paul Watson, Michael Corby, Kevin and John Ling.
Thanks too to David Rollison along with Paul and Max Garnell for some excellent Community content and some other contributors whose identities are so secret even I don’t have a clue who they are!

Our Programme Team are top class and editorially independent and long may that continue as we are very fortunate to have their support, which is all voluntary and very much appreciated.
We are already putting plans in place to improve the programme even further for the 2020 season, including increasing the number of pages to 32, and developing a number of new features, some of which will be focussed around Eagles fans themselves.
We are also exploring a number of potential digital options, to make the 2020 Programme truly interactive.”
